GC Roofing is a newly established roofing business created by a tradesperson stepping out on their own. The objective of this project was to develop a strong, professional brand that clearly communicates the service offering while building immediate trust with potential clients.

Logo Design

The GC Roofing logo was designed to be bold, clear, and instantly recognisable within the roofing and construction industry.

The logo is built around the initials GC, ensuring the business name is memorable and visually strong. A roof outline sits above the letters, immediately signalling the roofing trade, while a vertical wall element running down the side represents structure, durability, and reliability. Together, these elements create a clear visual link to roofing and construction while reinforcing trust and workmanship.

The word “Roofing” sits along the base of the logo, supported by a yellow line that adds balance, emphasis, and brand recognition.

Colour Palette & Brand Feel

The GC Roofing brand uses a blue, yellow, and white colour palette, chosen to reflect professionalism and approachability.

  • Blue conveys trust, reliability, and experience — essential qualities in the roofing industry.

  • Yellow adds warmth and visibility, helping the brand stand out while maintaining a practical, trade-focused feel.

  • White provides clarity and contrast, keeping the overall brand clean and modern.

This combination creates a confident, professional identity that feels established while remaining accessible.

Once the logo and brand identity were finalised, I applied the branding across key promotional materials to support the business launch.

This included the design of business cards and flyers, allowing GC Roofing to present a consistent and professional image when meeting clients and promoting services locally.
